I developed After Sunny for exactly this problem: it relieves intense burning pain and that tight, uncomfortable feeling. It is exceptionally rich in antioxidants and unsaturated fatty acids. With its skin-friendly ingredients this complex lotion protects dry, sensitive skin, is an effective emollient, cares for the skin silkily and hydrates deeply. Thanks to its excellent ingredients it absorbs quickly and effectively. The sea buckthorn seed oil it contains is proven to reduce redness and stimulate the repair of damaged skin.

I recommend it for every skin type, and it is safe to use from the age of 1.

Witch hazel water

Thanks to its high tannin content, it is one of the most powerful natural astringent hydrosols. It cleanses and tightens the pores beautifully, reduces sebum production and calms inflammation and irritation (e.g. after shaving).

Calendula extract / oil / macerate

A plant ingredient with legendary soothing, skin-renewing and wound-healing properties. It speeds up the healing of micro-injuries, reduces inflammation, relieves sunburn and supports the regeneration of the skin's barrier layer.

Aloe vera / aloe vera gel

Exceptionally rich in vitamins, enzymes, minerals and amino acids. It has excellent moisturising, anti-inflammatory, cooling and burn-healing properties. It supports collagen synthesis and speeds up the renewal of the epidermis.

Vitamin E

A fat-soluble vitamin with outstanding antioxidant power. It protects the lipids of cell membranes from oxidative stress and the damaging effect of free radicals (e.g. UV radiation, pollution). It supports skin hydration, improves microcirculation and is an excellent anti-ageing active.

Sea buckthorn oil (seed and fruit)

Rich in rare omega-7 fatty acids, beta-carotene and vitamins. It has outstanding cell-regenerating, wound-healing and anti-inflammatory effects. It helps restore sunburnt, eczema-prone or damaged skin, giving it a radiant, healthy colour.

Lemongrass / citronella essential oil

Strongly disinfecting, antiviral and antifungal. It refreshes and cleanses oily skin, stimulates circulation and is also a well-known natural insect (mosquito) repellent.

Panthenol (provitamin B5)

An excellent water-binding, soothing and wound-healing active. In the skin it converts into pantothenic acid (vitamin B5), which is essential for the regeneration and metabolism of skin cells. It strengthens the skin barrier and reduces inflammation, itching and redness.

Bisabolol

The main isolated active compound of chamomile. It has an extremely strong anti-inflammatory, soothing and wound-healing effect. It minimises redness and irritation and effectively supports the regeneration of sensitive skin prone to eczema or breakouts.

Allantoin

A cell-regenerating, soothing molecule that stimulates the formation of new skin (epithelialisation). It helps damaged skin regenerate and reduces irritation and redness. Thanks to its mild keratolytic (exfoliating) effect, it softens and smooths the skin's surface.
