Refined coconut oil

An excellent emollient plant butter with occlusive (moisture-sealing) properties. It protects the skin from drying out by forming a silky protective film. Thanks to its lauric acid content, it is also mildly antibacterial.

Zinc ricinoleate

A highly effective natural odour neutraliser made from castor oil. It does not block the skin's natural, healthy perspiration and does not clog pores; instead it chemically binds and neutralises the molecules that cause unpleasant odours. Ideal for natural deodorants.

Betaine

A natural amino-acid derivative (osmolyte) extracted from sugar beet. It helps maintain the cells' water balance (osmoregulation) and thus hydrates intensely. It reduces the potential irritating effect of cleansing agents (surfactants), leaving the skin soft and silky.

Lavender flower water

A versatile toning and soothing hydrosol. It cleanses and balances the skin, promotes wound healing and reduces acne-related inflammation while cooling and refreshing a tired complexion.

Rosemary hydrosol / rosemary water

A purifying, toning and strongly antioxidant hydrosol. It regulates sebum production, cleanses the pores and stimulates scalp circulation (also excellent against hair loss). It protects against free radicals.

Baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)

A natural salt with alkalising, deodorising and mildly disinfecting effects. In deodorants it inhibits the growth of the bacteria responsible for body odour. It is also used as a physical exfoliant and pH regulator.

Sage essential oil

An oil with outstanding antiperspirant (anhidrotic), disinfecting and wound-healing effects. Excellent in natural deodorants for reducing unpleasant odours and excessive sweating, as well as for an oily scalp and skin.

Panthenol (provitamin B5)

An excellent water-binding, soothing and wound-healing active. In the skin it converts into pantothenic acid (vitamin B5), which is essential for the regeneration and metabolism of skin cells. It strengthens the skin barrier and reduces inflammation, itching and redness.

Lavender essential oil

The Swiss army knife of cosmetics. Excellent for soothing, cell regeneration, wound healing and calming inflammation. It speeds up the healing of burns and reduces inflamed spots, while calming the nervous system through aromatherapy.
